Oggi è il compleanno di Faccio-io.
Il temporale di ieri sera e la pioggia di stanotte hanno abbassato le temperature in maniera netta. Stamattina alle otto c’erano 19 gradi. Cioè, 19 gradi al 30 di luglio! Un evento! Un bel regalo di compleanno per tutti noi che, finalmente, stanotte siamo riusciti a dormire bene.
Mentre io mi svegliavo pensando “Sìììì! Finalmente un po’ di fresco!”, abbiamo saputo che Faccio-io si era svegliato perché si è messo ad urlare <<Sìììì! È sabato!!! È il mio compleanno!!!! Ho nove anni!!! Vado in quarta!!! Pepperepe pepperepe!!!>>
L’ultima affermazione (vado in quarta) non pensavo destasse in lui tanto interesse da essere paragonata al compleanno, comunque mai frenare l’entusiasmo, ogni motivo è buono per esultare.
Più tardi, poi, ha specificato al papà che non vede l’ora che ricominci la scuola. Per rivedere gli amici, ovviamente!

Happy birthday (belated) to Faccio-io!!! I hope he (and you) had a wonderful day. And thank God for the relief! We had lower temperatures, yesterday, as well! It only got up to 99 F! Haha! And it has rained a little bit, two days in a row. Blessings to you!

A very happy belated birthday to Faccio-io!! Glad that you had a nice day and cooler temps to enjoy it with. We went to 31C yesterday to drop back down to 19 today and lots of rain. It just does not want to stop raining here. We keep looking for some hot days but they are few this summer. Supposed to be a cool rainy week here! Hope your week will be a bit cooler at least!😊😺⛈️⛈️

It seems that this morning should rain here too. There is a storm approaching. For the moment the air is fresh, I hope it stays fresh even during the day.
By the way, 22C isn’t cool… For me, at least 😅

I sure hope that you get some good rain from that storm! Rain in the air always makes it smell so nice and fresh. We are still getting mostly sunny skies and the temp is 24, might hit 27 today, then cooler tomorrow with a strong north wind.😬🙄😂😹
